CSS/NEFSC serves a multicultural neighborhood with social, economic, and emotional needs. The clients’ ages range from newborn to 80+ years old and assistance is provided to individuals and families. The following consists of the main services provided at CSS/NEFSC: Pregnancy and Parenting Support Services (diaper pantries, Pre and Postnatal workshops, & Parenting Workshops); Emergency Food Cupboard; Senior Program (Tai Chi, Zumba, & Bingo); Afterschool Program, Summer Camp; Benephilly (apply for governmental benefits); Clarifi (mortgage assistance, budgeting, & financial empowerment) and Catholic Clinical Consultants (counseling). CSS/NEFSC provides free diapers for parents once a month. Educational workshops, such as sleep safety, bathtub safety, healthy communication and discipline are offered to promote positive parenting.
